Many in our community enjoy having a pet dog. Having a pet involves anticipating certain responsibilities such as care and feeding, but it also involves a number of other issues as well.

• Please pick up the "mess" when walking your dog. This includes any mess in the pine straw area as well as the grassy sections. It is not only unsanitary but also disrespectful to your neighbors to leave your pet's mess behind. With warm weather, we have many young children running around the property, so please be considerate.

• The City of South Fulton enforces a leash law that requires all dogs to be walked on a leash that is no longer than six feet. Any dog that is not leashed or tethered may be impounded.
